Cheblymusic is the project of Rayan Chebly, working out of Beirut. The records are chosen for what they do over forty minutes rather than four: a figure introduced quietly, turned over, and given somewhere to go.
Melodic techno sits at the centre: wide reverbs, patient arpeggios, a low end that carries rather than punches, with progressive house on the way up and melodic house on the way back down. Sets are mixed live and run long.
